If you think we don’t LOVE desserts here at Metabolism Makeover…then we need to get to know each other better!
Desserts can absolutely be a part of your life. And – bonus – they can definitely still be blood sugar friendly too! Let me share with you some amazing recipes that will satisfy that sweet tooth and still support the goals you have:
1. Protein Cookie Dough
½ c oat flour
1 serving vanilla protein powder
1 Tbsp maple syrup
Dash of vanilla extract
1-2 Tbsp of milk of choice – just enough to combine
1-2 tsp chocolate chips
Combine all ingredients together until a dough forms! Add chocolate chips as you desire – our favorite is dark chocolate. You can also let this sit in the fridge or freezer for 20-30 minutes so it firms up a little. Enjoy!
Take your date, cut in half and remove the pit. Spread about ½-1 tbsp of preferred nut butter inside the date. Add a couple chocolate chips on top. Enjoy!
